Project Hail Mary is an upcoming American science fiction adventure film based on the 2021 hard science fiction novel of the same name by Andy Weir, author of The Martian.

Following on from my video yesterday about my hopes for the new Stargate restart, I also have high hopes for this Amazon/MGM studios production, especially as the screenplay is by Drew Goddard who also penned "The Martian"
