Episode 1386: Why does God elect some people and not others? Part 1

Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we uncover Balaam's error that spread throughout the church at Pergamus.

The error of Balaam? Yes. What in the world is the error of Balaam and who is Balaam? Well Balaam was a warlock or wizard who used divination to deceive people. The error of Balaam is that he didn't understand the plan of God's election of Israel.

No, no, no, not necessarily the people of Israel, the Jews, but the person of Israel, the Christ. The LORD God called the Christ, My Elect then the LORD God called the heritage of His Christ, the Jewish nation and people, Israel My Elect.

That's what Balaam didn't understand even though the Lord used him give utter prophecies stating the same. The offspring of Christ God's Elect, from the nation of Christ God's Elect, are also God's Elect.

Kevin, do you mean the Jews? No, I mean Abraham's SEED.
Galatians 3:26-29 (NKJV) Sons and Heirs
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

The LORD God has made it crystal clear that in order to be considered one of His children you must be located in a certain place. It has nothing to do with what you possess, how you possess it, nor if you continue to possess it.

It has to do with where you are and how you got there.
1 Corinthians 15:21-22 (NKJV)
21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as IN ADAM ALL DIE, even so IN CHRIST ALL SHALL BE MADE ALIVE.

What then is the problem according to God and the scriptures? Our location! The remedy therefore cannot be what I do within the boundaries of my location. Within Adam I can pray, confess, repent, believe, murder, steal, lie, be sexually pure or immoral, YET I AM STILL IN ADAM!!!!

The most important question that must be resolved by every human is, how can I move from being IN ADAM to being IN CHRIST?
