Evangelical Christian culture is shaped by the Bible as the ultimate source of truth, grounding identity, morality, and purpose in God and calling believers to follow Jesus through holiness, discipleship, and personal transformation. American progressive culture, by contrast, centers on self-expression, evolving social values, and justice through structural change, defining truth and identity through human experience and societal consensus. While both care about compassion and human dignity, they approach truth, morality, and change from fundamentally different starting points—one rooted in God’s unchanging Word, the other in shifting cultural beliefs and personal autonomy.
