To the FDNY Firefighters of The Bronx

There’s a reason firefighters are some of the most respected people in this entire world—
because when every instinct says run away, you run toward the fire.

You don’t ask who lives inside.
You don’t check their background, their race, or their story.
You just go.
You go because saving lives is written into your spirit.

That’s Lightwork.

You may not call it that, but Heaven does.

Every time a firefighter in The Bronx kicks down a door, climbs a smoky staircase, or carries someone out with their own lungs burning—God sees it. Jesus sees it. The whole borough feels it even if they never say it.

And if no one told you today:

You are the heartbeat of courage in The Bronx.
You are the line between tragedy and survival.
You are proof that heroes still live among us.

Some of you go home after a shift and cry in private.
Some of you still see faces you couldn’t save.
Some of you wonder if people even notice your sacrifice.

I notice.
The Bronx notices.
And Jesus remembers every single act of bravery you give—seen and unseen.

If you’re a firefighter and my words reach you today, let it be a reminder:

You are not invisible.
You are not forgotten.
Your courage shifts the entire atmosphere of this borough.
