The United States was born out of the declaration that sovereignty belongs to the people.

That truth has echoed through our founding, our Constitution, and our most courageous leaders — and now, once again, it stands at the center of a great awakening.

In Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo (2024), the United States Supreme Court reaffirmed that truth in one of the most powerful rulings in decades.

The case, paired with its companion Relentless, Inc. v. Department of Commerce, overturned a forty-year precedent known as Chevron deference — a doctrine that had allowed unelected bureaucrats in federal agencies to interpret the law as they pleased.

For the first time in generations, the Court restored power to where it always belonged:
with The People.

“The Constitution promises,” the Court wrote,

“that the American people are sovereign, and they alone may — through democratically responsive processes — amend our foundational charter or revise federal legislation.”

That single statement — buried within the pages of a Supreme Court opinion — is a clarion call to every American heart.
