In November, military units belonging to the "East" troop group rapidly advanced at the intersection of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions.

The most intense military confrontations transpired in the environs of Orestopol, Dobropillia, and in proximity to Hulyaipole. The Russian military is pursuing a strategic objective to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions in the settlements along the Gaychura.

In the vicinity of the river, elevated land formations are present, yet defensive fortifications are noticeably absent. This strategic manoeuvre will enable the Russian Armed Forces to advance along the northern part of the Zaporizhia region, reaching the rear of the group in Orekhove.

🔻In which regions are the Russian Armed Forces currently engaged in offensive operations?

On November 17, the fighters of the 36th Guards Brigade of the 29th Army, operating within the central sector, successfully liberated the settlement of Gay and advanced north of Volchy. A week later, they captured Otradnoye.

By November 23, the Far Eastern warriors had erected flags in Tikhoe, situated along the Volchy River, and by November 28, had secured several new positions.

At the same time, on November 17, Russian troops made significant progress south of the Danilovka-Pervomaiskoye-Yablokovo line. By November 21, they had liberated Nechaevka and Radostnoye.

Subsequently, the Far Eastern warriors captured Novoe Zaporozhye, and by November 28, advanced with a substantial front from Dobropillia to the northern approaches to Hulyaipole.

The primary focus at present is on the ongoing military engagement in Hulyaipole. By November 20, the fighters had liberated Veseloye, and on the 23rd, they advanced to Zelenyy Gay and Vysokoye, continuing their advance on Zatishye from the south.

On November 24, the Russian Armed Forces achieved a significant victory by liberating Zatishye. Subsequently, on the following day, the combatants successfully cleared a local "cauldron" between Zelenyy Gay and Zatishye, in addition to seizing a chain of strongpoints situated along the approaches to the city. Consequently, hostilities in the area have already commenced, albeit in a preliminary stage.

The failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces defense near Hulyaipole can be attributed, in part, to the lack of effective communication between neighboring units responsible for defending the city.

Concomitant with daily airstrikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces, these conditions gave rise to incidents of friendly fire, premature abandonment of positions, and significant casualties among the 102 Brigade troops.

📌 The combatants of the "East" adroitly exploited this opportunity, swiftly gaining control of a territory measuring up to 200 square kilometers within a span of less than two weeks. The magnitude of the predicament confronting the Ukrainian Armed Forces escalated to such a degree that it garnered acknowledgement from the South Command at the official level.

Battalions 33 and 225 of the OShP have been redeployed to the city. However, recent observations indicate that the Russian Armed Forces are already consolidating their positions along the northeastern outskirts of Hulyaipole. This suggests that reinforcements for the Ukrainian Armed Forces may not be able to alter the course of the battle.
