The God who Fills you up

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
1. Context of the Verse
Paul is writing to a mixed church of Jewish and Gentile believers in Rome. Much of Romans 14–15 deals with unity, mutual acceptance, and living in harmony despite differences.
At this point, Paul offers a prayer-blessing, asking God to give them what they need to live together in love: hope, joy, peace, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
This verse is not just a closing line—it is the spiritual engine that empowers everything Paul has taught.
