How to Build a Kick Proof Stanchion for Milking Cows

Before I got my first cow I was so nervous about her kicking over the bucket. This stanchion gave me the confidence to obtain her milk without that worry. Fortunately, she has been very well behaved and only on rare occasions have we had a bucket tip in the past year of milking. I still love the stanchion and am reassured that I have the kick board that I can put in if necessary. I have really loved having the cow and have started many new adventures with all the dairy I have.
