Satanic or Based? Candace Owens vs. Turning Point’s Pastors

Recently, a major rift has exploded inside conservative circles. Several prominent pastors associated with Turning Point USA – including some who regularly speak at TPUSA Faith events – have publicly accused Candace Owens of being influenced by Satan, promoting “demonic” ideas, and even being a “daughter of the devil.” The accusations stem largely from Candace’s increasingly critical stance on Israel, her comments questioning certain historical narratives around World War II, her rejection of Christian Zionism, and her vocal opposition to what she calls “Frankengate” and other conspiracy-linked topics. The pastors argue that her rhetoric has crossed into dangerous, unbiblical territory and that she is leading young Christians astray. Candace, in turn has fired back, calling the attacks slanderous, un-Christian, and proof that many evangelical leaders care more about political alliances than biblical truth. In this video, I’m taking a step back from the firestorm. I don’t believe Candace Owens is ‘satanic’ – that label feels extreme and unhelpful – but I also think some of her recent statements and associations raise legitimate questions that Christians should be willing to discuss openly and charitably. My goal here isn’t to cancel anyone or declare someone a heretic; it’s to look at both sides fairly and ask: Where should the line actually be drawn?
