The Cost of What We Carry

This is an unofficial "Part 2" of a 3 part conversation based on an encounter I had with the Lord. In a powerful, much needed time of weeping that came from reading the book, "Searching for Sunday," the premise of the church as both a body and a bride was illuminated. The metaphor of being pregnant with something, with carrying something, came into view and I immediately thought of the woman who was anointed to carry the most precious thing.

We dive into Luke 1 to analyze the differences between Zachariah and Mary. Two people given the same promise from the Lord, with two drastically different responses. We talk about the cost of carrying something great from the Lord and the importance of who is alongside you as you do.
