I finished up at the camp. Tried to make it look more like a bandit raid that happened at night and caught all the soldiers sleeping on duty. Do my best to coverup for what the real reason for the raid was.
I went back to Rains Fall. Gave him the Chanupa. He asked if anyone was hurt. I saw the hope in his eyes even though he knew the truth before he asked. I told him yes, people were hurt. We both knew that would happen. Rains Fall definitely has seen too much violence in his life and so desperately want it to stop. Maybe one day, but not right now. He took his pipe and his hope back to the reservation. Maybe he can find a way to stop his son's dangerous path. Maybe I can stop Dutch's path as well. I think we both know this is highly unlikely.
