Remote robot procedure heralds a new era of brain surgery

Robotic stroke surgery has been carried out on a pig in Paris by a specialist in Scotland, using a system developed by Lithuanian medtech robotics company Sentante. The team says the successful surgery, done by interventional neuroradiologist Professor Iris Grunwald, demonstrates a new era in remote robotic brain surgery. Olivia Zollino reports.
