PUTIN: “If the EU starts a war with Russia, Moscow will soon have no one to negotiate with”

The President emphasized:

"Russia is not going to fight with European countries, but if Europe starts a war, Russia is ready right now."

The Russia Head of State said that Europe had pulled itself out of the Ukrainian settlement and stressed that the Europeans had no peaceful agenda and were now interfering with US efforts to resolve the conflict.

He also said that Russia allows the Europeans to return to negotiations if they take into account the realities on the ground.

The Russian leader once again noted the difference between self-defense and war:

"Russia is operating surgically in Ukraine, this is not a war in the truest sense of the word."
