Tons of Sobs by FREE is one of the seminal albums of the era.
Reputed to be engineered by Glynn Johns when he told the band to treat it as a live gig, and most of it was finished on the 2nd take. Most vocalists get clapped out after the 3rd or 4th take anyway.
I saw FREE several times in 1970 live, and I think the last one was at the Isle of Wight Pop Festival in 1970.
