Ep 14 | The Power of Forgiveness

1 — Release the Burden
 We all carry wounds— words that hurt us, people who betrayed us, moments that broke us.
But God never meant for us to walk through life weighed down.
 Matthew 11:28 — “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

2 — What Forgiveness Really Means
 Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting. It doesn’t mean pretending the pain didn’t matter. It doesn’t even mean that the person was right.
Forgiveness means trusting God with the pain that others caused.
 Ephesians 4:32 — “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

3 — Forgiving Others
 When you forgive someone, you’re not saying, “What you did was okay.” You’re saying, “I’m letting God heal what you broke.”
 Colossians 3:13 — “Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

4 — Forgiving Yourself
 Sometimes the hardest person to forgive… is yourself.
Your mistakes. Your failures. Your regrets.
But God doesn’t hold your past over you— so why should you?
 1 John 1:9 — “He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

5 — The Freedom That Comes
 Forgiveness is a process— some days easy, some days painful— but each step brings healing.
Because forgiveness doesn’t just change how you feel… it changes who you become.
 Psalm 147:3 — “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

 Forgiveness doesn’t change the past… but it transforms your future.
So today, release the weight. Release the anger. Release the blame. Choose to forgive— not because they deserve it… but because God wants you free

 Matthew 6:14 — “If you forgive others, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”

“Forgive. Heal. Be Free.”
