Behind the Scenes:
This story was originally titled Closure, but with the rewrite I shifted the focus, and the name, to Frantic Weight. Several loose threads needed to be realigned due to the story’s original intent, and through that process, this installment evolved into a tense and emotional endpoint for the Colonization series. These final moments capture the colony’s struggle beneath the weight of pressure, loss, and unavoidable confrontation.
