Went back and met up with Captain Monroe on the reservation, as promised. What I saw this time was disgusting. Sick and dying children. Monroe said it was because the army was holding up delivery of the vaccines. He was pretty sure, though not certain, that the army was trying to rile up the Indians into a war or just kill em off so they didn't have to bother with them anymore. Monroe said he knew where the wagon with the vaccines should be, so we decided to head out. I had decided I was gonna get those vaccines. Do some more good for these people.
