Washington, D.C., December 2, 2025 — FBI Director Kash Patel addressed viewer frustration head-on during an interview with Laura Ingraham, responding to questions about the timing of the Jeffrey Epstein document releases. Patel said the Bureau has already delivered 40,000 pages to Congress — dwarfing the output of previous FBI leadership — and stressed that remaining delays stem from court-ordered restrictions, not a lack of transparency.

“To compare, Wray put out 13,000 pages in seven years. Comey put out 3,000,” Patel said. “We’re committed to transparency. We’re putting out everything that is lawful and everything not blocked by a judge. DOJ is still fighting in court to make sure we can reveal more without breaking the law.”

Patel then shifted to two of the Bureau’s most sensitive investigations: Arctic Frost, involving the illegal surveillance of senators and staffers, and the ongoing probe into the origins of Russiagate.

“You know about Russiagate because of my work with Devin [Nunes] back in the day,” Patel said. “The guy who launched that investigation — me — is now FBI Director. And I’m not ending this mission until we destroy the full weaponization that existed before I got here.”

When Ingraham asked whether he remained hopeful despite institutional resistance and internal holdovers, Patel didn’t hesitate.

“I’m more than hopeful,” he said. “I don’t listen to the swamp. I listen to Americans across the country — parents, communities, people telling us they’ve never felt safer. They appreciate that we’re protecting children, securing the nation, and locking up violent offenders.”

Patel said the praise coming from everyday Americans across all regions far outweighs the noise coming from Washington insiders.

“What I do not listen to is the witchcraft coming out of D.C. — that’s all they have left. They’ll sell their pamphlets and try to raise money off it,” he said. “Hope is not a strategy. The mission of this FBI is.”

Ingraham closed the interview by inviting Patel back: “Mr. Director, great to have you on. Don’t be a stranger.”
