STOP GIVING TENANTS ALL THE KEYS 😂🔑 | Rookie Mistake!

🔑 PROPERTY MANAGEMENT 101:
NEVER — and I mean NEVER — give all the original keys to your tenants.

You want to avoid problems?
You want to keep control of your property?
You want to know if someone changed the locks on you behind your back?
Then LISTEN UP. 😂🔥

Here’s why keeping the ORIGINAL keys is absolutely essential:

✔️ Reason 1: You’ll Immediately Know If They Changed the Locks

If your original key doesn’t work?
BOOM. 🚨
They swapped the lock. That’s an instant lease violation.
But if all you have is a copy, you’ll never know what’s real and what’s not.

✔️ Reason 2: You Always Maintain LEGAL Access

You should ALWAYS have a working key to your own property.
Original key = original lock = original access.

A tenant should NEVER hold 100% of the access —
unless you enjoy drilling locks, filing violations, and surprise visits to Lowe’s. 😂🔩

✔️ Reason 3: You Control Move-Outs, Inspections & Emergencies

If they disappear, play games, or ghost you?
You have the key.
You have the access.
You have the control.
Not them.

Property managers:
Stop handing out every key like it's a Christmas giveaway. 🎁😂
Protect yourself, protect the homeowner, and protect the property.

Keep the originals.
Always.
No exceptions.
