On 21 May 2012, US military veterans led a peaceful march with thousands of civilians to the venue of the 2012 Chicago NATO Summit, where nearly 50 of them threw their medals of honor at the main building in denouncement of NATO’s atrocities in Iraq and Afghanistan and their part in it.

NATO invaded Afghanistan in 2001, following the so-called 9/11 terror attacks. The official narrative pointed the finger squarely at Al-Qaeda, and held Afghanistan’s Taliban government responsible for protecting the terror group and its leader Osama bin Laden.

Investigations over the years have shown many inconsistencies in this official narrative, just as there have been many blatant lies and misrepresentations in the official narratives on Iraq, Libya and Palestine. The official US government narrative about its so-called War on Terror could not be further from the truth.

The truth is that the U.S. government itself is the planet’s single greatest terror threat of the 21st century.
