It’s official — and it’s PATHETIC. AEW and CMLL have blocked Shinsuke Nakamura from wrestling Hiroshi Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom, even though Tanahashi wanted it for his FINAL MATCH. His FINAL match! A legendary moment ruined because of petty, miserable politics.

Dave Meltzer — the AEW defense attorney who pretends to be a journalist — confirmed it. And of course he tries to spin it, because he loves AEW more than he loves air. He’ll excuse ANYTHING they do. He’ll cry and whine and write a 5,000-word essay about how this is “justified.” Totally embarrassing.

But here’s the TRUTH:
Tanahashi wanted to wrestle Shinsuke.
Shinsuke was READY.
Fans WANTED IT.
History DESERVED IT.

Only one problem… Shinsuke works for WWE. And AEW and CMLL can’t handle that. Instead of doing what’s right for wrestling, they did what’s right for their fragile egos. They blocked a dream match for no reason except jealousy and insecurity.

This is why AEW will NEVER be WWE. This is why CMLL continues to embarrass themselves. They don’t care about greatness. They don’t care about history. They care about protecting their little bubble and pretending they’re relevant.

Pathetic! Truly pathetic!
