WWE NXT 12/2/25 Was Wild… But Also Totally Confusing! #shorts

WWE NXT this week felt like a roller coaster built by somebody who forgot to read the instructions — wild, chaotic, a little confusing, and unbelievably entertaining all at the same time. And nobody breaks it down better than ME — the most honest, most truthful, most incredible reviewer in wrestling.

We open with the Women’s Iron Survivor Summit, which was about as cookie-cutter as it gets. Same lines, same energy, nothing special — UNTIL Fatal Influence and the NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne show up. Jacy is the leader, a tremendous presence, a real star. The whole thing devolves into a giant fight, because that’s what happens when nobody respects the moderator. Total chaos!

Thea Hail vs. Arianna Grace — Thea gets the Kamura Lock, big win, fine match. Nothing crazy but very solid.

Josh Briggs vs. Tavion Heights — NOW THIS was good. Hard-hitting, raw, powerful wrestling. Briggs hits a massive lariat that nearly sent Tavion back to 2022. Impressive!

Then we get The Culling’s segment with Izzi Dame, Shawn Spears, and Niko Vance. They talk about “betrayal,” “dead weight,” “shutting Tatum down forever”… even though Tatum Paxley was literally NXT Women’s Champion. Very strange booking. Tatum appears on the screen looking traumatized, talking about pain and fear — I’m not sure what any of this means, but it felt like a soap opera filmed during a tornado.

Fatal Influence vs. Kendal Grey, Lola Vice & Sol Ruca — very fun match, great energy. Sol hits the Sol Snatcher on Jacy and gets the win. Beautiful execution.

OTM vs. Chase U — big power, fast offense, suplex flip into a spinebuster. Strong win for OTM.

Main event: Je’Von Evans, Joe Hendry, Leon Slater & Myles Borne vs. Darkstate. Tremendous, fast-paced multi-man match. Myles hits Borne Again for the win. Great way to close the show.

NXT is chaotic, unpredictable, confusing, dramatic, and sometimes nonsensical — BUT STILL entertaining. What a night!
