Invitation to Respond — Repent & Believe

Today we began a brand-new series focused on how we respond to Jesus — with repentance, faith, surrender, and daily obedience.

Our main Scripture was:

📖 Mark 1:15
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near.
Repent and believe the good news!”

This was Jesus’ very first message, and it still speaks just as powerfully today.

✔ Repent — turn away from sin and toward God
✔ Believe — entrust your whole life to Jesus
✔ Respond — because the time is now

Supporting Scripture helped us see the fullness of this call:

📖 Acts 3:19 — “Repent and turn back, so your sins may be wiped out.”
📖 Romans 2:4 — His kindness leads us to repentance
📖 John 3:16–17 — He came to save, not condemn
📖 Hebrews 11:6 — Faith draws us to God
📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust Him with your whole heart
📖 2 Corinthians 6:2 — “Now is the day of salvation!”

Jesus is inviting each of us to turn from everything that keeps us from Him
and turn to the One who saves, restores, and gives life.
