Destroying Death: Christ's Crucifixion and Our Redemption

The mountain of the Lord, as described in Isaiah, is fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. While the prophecy was initially understood as referring to Jerusalem, it ultimately points to Jesus, who provides spiritual nourishment, destroys death, and removes the reproach of sin. This fulfillment continues today through the Holy Eucharist and the spiritual healing offered by Jesus.
