Khaos Reigns is the story expansion for Mortal Kombat 1 that follows the base game's ending, where Titan Havik attacks Liu Kang's new era to plunge it into anarchy. The story focuses on Liu Kang rallying his champions, including a reluctant alliance with the Lin Kuei led by a now corrupt Bi-Han (Sub-Zero), to combat Havik's "Brotherhood of Chaos". The plot involves a journey to Havik's Citadel in the Chaos Realm, where the heroes must rescue Geras and the Kamidagu from Havik's forces.
