Jesus told us in this world we will have tribulations – the original Greek word means pressure and is rooted in restriction, limitation and narrowness. But Jesus overcame the world for us so that our faith has also overcome the world – including all its limitations and restrictions. If we are not OF this world system, we are not ultimately subject to it either . .
