Ruslan KD Interview with Carl Lentz where he responds to the comment "If your pastor doesn't know your name then find a new church". The former celebrity megachurch Pastor laughs off the question as foolishness. I guess he thinks its too much to expect that your Pastor will know your name. As for me i would expect my Pastor to know my name. At a larger church you might not know your Pastor well but they should know you. I would also make an effort to introduce myself if need be. But i wouldn't attend a church where i didn't know the Pastor at all. I have attended larger churches and still knew my Pastor. However i felt more comfortable at smaller churches where i really got a chance to know my Pastor well. I don't need but it is nice. This Carl Lentz interview with Ruslan was a very good interview which brought up a lot of good things worth discussing. Carl Lentz as the former mega church Pastor of Hillsong NYC in my area. Until he had an affair and the whole church collapsed. Let me know your thought below. Does your Pastor need to know your name for you to attend their church?
