🎯Repost: 25 November 2025 • UNITED NATIONS HEADQUARTERS: On 30 October 2025, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People held a virtual briefing, streamed on UN Web TV, titled “Safeguarding Human Rights, Ensuring Accountability and Ending the Unlawful Occupation of Palestine”. The Committee Chair, Ambassador Coly Seck, opened the meeting by situating the discussion in the context of two years of intense suffering in Gaza and recent developments since the 13 October 2025 Gaza Peace Summit, including a fragile ceasefire, the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, and a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces.
