In this week’s video, I talk about dealing with haters, bullies, and people who try to tear you down when you’re chasing your dreams.
I found out recently that people from my High School (who might be watching this lol) have been making fun of me…10 years after High School. Now the purpose of this video isn’t to give them extra attention and I don’t name any names. But I talk about my inner response that I’ve taken. While I used to see this as “I have to prove them wrong, let me get my revenge,” I now realize that doing that is still giving them control which they don’t have! It takes realizing these guys are on the sidelines for a reason while I’m in the game chasing after my dreams. I’ve never been anything but nice to these people and yet these people are watching and making fun of me for doing my thing. I’ve already won. And I hope hearing this perspective helps people of all ages who have been bullied.
In this video, I share what I’ve learned about why bullies act the way they do, how to stop giving them control, and what it really means to rise above it all.
