A breakthrough toward peace in Ukraine still is not on the horizon. The Witkoff delegation to Moscow was pleasantly received and listened to. In the meantime, the Europeans fume over their exclusion. All awhile, Ukraine’s military fortunes on the battlefield suffer. Escalation remains possible.
