Aningalan is a small, scenic barangay (village) in the municipality of San Remigio, located in the northern part of Antique province on Panay Island, Philippines. Nestled at an elevation of around 869 meters (2,851 feet) above sea level, it’s often called the “Little Baguio” or “Vegetable Basket” of Antique due to its cool climate, lush vegetable farms, and highland charm reminiscent of Baguio City’s pine-scented highlands. With a population of just 660 as of the 2020 census, it’s a peaceful rural spot ideal for nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking a refreshing escape from the tropical heat.
