Players control martial artist Billy Lee as he fights through urban stages filled with gangs, weapons, and bosses in order to rescue Marian. Known for defining the beat ’em up genre, its two-player roots, and classic street-fighting action, Double Dragon became one of the most influential games of the 8-bit era.
