The European Union has decided to assert of fine of $140 million dollars against social media platform X, owned by Elon Musk—as well as against Elon Musk PERSONALLY.

The nominal excuse for this fine is the claim that X has violated some digital safety regulations of the EU—in particular, the EU wants control over who can receive a blue check mark of authenticity and wants to be able to view the identify of persons who post content they find offensive.

The REAL reason for the fine is that X is the ONLY social media platform that has not bent the knee to the EU’s demand for censorship control of over the platform’s content—in other words, it is a direct attack upon the free speech of X as well as on every American using X. And there is little doubt that X is by far the most used social media platform for political discussion & debate in the US, America’s virtual “public square.”

And why is the EU pushing this censorship regime so aggressively NOW? Because the political left Progressive Fascists who have for decades exerted unaccountable and anti-democratic power over the European Union are seeing their grip on that power slip, and slip badly, as the actual populace of cultural Western Europe increasingly turns more to the political right in an effort to end its destruction at the hands of a tsunami of third-world migrants that threatens to disintegrate traditional Europe into just another third-world hell hole.
