Why has the US become a stink hole on the brink of collapse?

The founding fathers did their best to set our country up with checks and balances to prevent any one power from ruling like kings, and it worked for a long time. Then came the federal reserve and powerful corporations. The federal reserve and the big corporations run the show now. Congress is laughable. The presidency is stagnant almost joke like and there is no media worth a dog crap. Judges are insanely corrupt. The US having more people in jail per capita than any country on earth is more than enough proof of that. The country is a bankrupt mess and "one foot in the grave" is an understatement. We know that because the world fears us and is making preparations to defend themselves from us like we are imperial Japan or Nazi Germany. That is not good. We are obviously undertaking a worldwide resource securing endeavor the likes the world has never seen, but we are branding it with propaganda lipstick like we are eradicating drugs, hunting terrorists or freeing Iraqis etc. This is the troubling sign of a bankrupt desperate country clinging to a stopped clock. We pay others to do our dirty work and participate with genocide and war crimes like we have lost our way with humanity and are no longer a serious participant in the world community. Like we are about to soon roll over, and chain stoke the rest of the way from here. It's not looking good. The only question for me is what will be the color arrangement for our next flag? Will it have stars on it or tears? We have run out of time. Narcissists and psychopath are surely to blame. At the root of it all is greed. We should have never allowed a federal reserve to enter the government. We should have never allowed foreign countries to bribe Congress. But we did and now our fate is sealed. Hopefully we don't take the rest of the world down with us as we assume our role as a broken desperate third world country vying for regime change of our own. Things will improve quickly. Bankrupt countries end fast. Hang in there for the bubble popping fest that will surely start soon. The rats will jump ship. And then there is the decorated telephone poles which will soon follow. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes. The founding fathers approve this message. this is just my opinions. What do you think?
