Animal Farm in the Levant?

The Syrian Regime is using Animal Farm as a “User’s Manual”. Hubris needs Nemesis. Bashar’s out, but the regime needs a scapegoat. It’s like when Snowball-Trotsky was kicked out by Stalin-Napoleon'. And just as Napoleon blamed Snowball for failures, this regime will need to deflect from his own missteps.
