Late Afternoon Walk. The Sun Slowly Sets as We Go.

Join me and Chiqui for a calm late-afternoon walk through the neighbourhood.
Chiqui rides in her little bag (she’s not much of a walker), we cross the main road and follow the narrow edge where the last stretch of bushland is quietly being lost to development.

We walk onto the coastal path just in time to see the sun hanging low over the ocean, slowly setting as we move. Heading back up through the built-up area, we pass an unfinished, ruin-like house that looks like someone ran out of funds and left it frozen mid-build. The walk finishes back on the main road as the light softens.

A gentle, unhurried stroll for anyone who likes neighbourhood ambles, golden-hour light, and a little bit of urban melancholy. 🌾🐾
