Christmas is not simply about lights, gifts, or traditions—it is about Jesus Himself. As Matthew writes, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows…” (Matt. 1:18), we are reminded that the story begins and ends with Him. John declares, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). And in verse 14, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” Christmas is not the center—Christ is the center.

Jesus is not part of the story of Christmas; Christmas is part of the story of Jesus. His eternal glory, revealed in John 1:18, shows us that the manger points beyond Bethlehem to the eternal plan of God.
