My wife, Nikeeya, opens the video with a brief introduction explaining why it matters that people actually read Treaty 6 instead of simply referring to it in debates and arguments.

So many discussions today revolve around “treaty rights,” yet surprisingly few Canadians—Indigenous or non-Indigenous—have ever seen the full text. This video is meant to help change that by making the original document accessible, readable, and shareable.
