Counting Heads (short mv)

Excerpt from my album’s Substack article:

Counting Heads

The vibe is an actiony pump-up song with an anime girl on a futuristic motorcycle wielding a samurai sword. The refrain, “We’re counting heads and there’s only one.”, is a vote of confidence in the courageous individual in spite of some unnamed massive challenge. An antagonistic preacher gives a sermon of doom characterizing FUD as three angels; Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. He prophesizes they’ll “[cut her down] at the height of [her] pride and insolence.” She responds, “We’ll see.”
