Peace, Peace, Peace

In a world filled with anxiety, worry, and constant turmoil, there's one gift that remains steady and unchanging: the peace of God. This Christmas season, as we light the peace candle, we're reminded that true peace isn't found in a place—it's found in a Person.

Isaiah 53 paints a powerful picture of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, who took upon Himself the punishment we deserved. "The chastisement of our peace was upon Him." He didn't need peace—WE needed peace. And He secured it for us at the cross.

Many are chasing peace in all the wrong places—in relationships, success, even addictions—but it always remains just out of reach. That's because peace isn't something we can manufacture or achieve on our own. Peace is a gift from the God of Peace, offered freely through His Son.

The good news? You can have peace WITH God through salvation, and then experience the peace OF God in your daily life. It's not elusive. It's not fleeting. It's available right now.

As one pastor simplified it: "God created a perfect world. Sin destroyed it. Jesus fixed it. And you can receive it."

This Christmas, will you accept the offer of peace? The Prince of Peace came so that you could have "peace that passes all understanding"—a peace that guards your heart and mind, even in life's most difficult moments.

Peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled.

Shalom. May God's peace be upon you and your family this Christmas season.
