Sig Sauer P322: Don't Let it Get Dirty!

Today we checked out the Sig Sauer P322. This pistol has some cool features out of the box like, flared magwell, flat faced trigger, optics ready, ambi controls and great grip texture. Not to mention the 20 round magazines. I was excited to try out this pistol although I have heard negative things about it. My buddy ⁨@MohaveMac⁩ Had some issues with some typed of ammo but found that the Winchester Wild cat ammo worked well so he sent me a couple boxes to use. Now in hindsight I should have tried the ammo again at the end to verify the flaws were because of the gun but they say hindsight is 20/20 and well I didn't. As you will see in the video when this pistol was clean it ran flawlessly, the only issue was Winchester 555 white box ammo not the pistol. It wasn't until we approached 200 ish rounds that the flaws started happening. Unfortunately during my shooting montage I forgot to hit record for two magazines in which during that time on the 2nd magazine we had failure after failure. When recreating the issues it proved to continue them with each type of ammo. When looking at the magazines when loaded I noticed the bullets did not tip up and were well below the feed lips (unlike every other 22lr I own). This might be the reason for the issues as the bullets have a hard time making it up the feed ramp at that angle they are in the mag. I'm sure that if Sig redesigned the mags it would fix the issues but we all know how Sig likes to admit fault... Either way at this time I cannot recommend the Sig P322 for anything but a range toy if you get it at a smoking price.
