📜✨ “Just the Bible?” — The Scripture Debate That Collapses on Page One

I hear you brag about
“just the Bible, nothing more.”
As if the Scriptures floated down from Heaven leather-bound and cross-referenced.
As if no councils, no apostles, no bishops, no Church
had anything to do with the book you’re holding.

But here’s the problem:

You can’t use the Bible
to defend a view of authority
that the Bible does not teach
and could not produce.

Scripture comes from somewhere.
It has authors.
It has context.
It has a canon —
a list real human beings had to discern, preserve, and defend.

The Bible never claims to be the only authority.
But it constantly points to the Church that Christ actually founded:

The Church as the pillar and foundation of truth.
The apostles given authority to bind and loose.
Tradition delivered orally.
Successors who guard the deposit of faith.
A living Body guided by the Spirit —
not a collection of individuals privately interpreting holy pages.

And that’s the irony at the center of this entire debate:

“Just the Bible” requires the very Church it rejects.
To get the canon, you need the councils.
To get the councils, you need apostolic succession.
To get apostolic succession, you need Christ’s commissioning.
And to get Christ’s commissioning, you need the visible Church He built.

You can’t cut the flower off the root
and then brag about how alive it is.

🎶 “Just the Bible?” — out now.
A track for anyone who loves Scripture enough to honor the Church that gave it to the world.
