the problem w/ getting sober for others is that yer sobriety ain't likely to last very long

psychiatry is exploiting people that refuse to do the work
medication don't help you understand yourself
a lotta people don't seem to wanna pay attention to anything really
this light always comes on at this specific intersection
the american way: pay people to "solve" our "problems"

everyone could improve our world if we all worked on ourselves
"authority" ain't too good at it so why do we abide

annie clark aka st. vincent used to be horribly insecure if you can believe that
she worked for what she has, she's allowed to say she's a feminist but she doesn't need to
