Wicked (2024) Review || BeyondGraves

🎬 Today, we’re taking a look at Wicked!

This is such an odd one, because you really do have to grade it on a snoot of a curve here- there's some rich bits, and it really is that bizarre adaption-ception, where it's several stages removed.

Having never read the book but reading a summary- it's not what I thought it was going to be, and that's great!

Directed by John M. Chu, Written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox.

Starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Etahn Slater, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Godlblum, and Marissa Bode.

In both these videos I mis-spoke because I have too many tabs open, and called Yeoh Constance Wu, so, uh, my bad. I did love her in CRA though.
