ALEX BALAZS ANNOUNCES 2026 CONGRESSIONAL RUN ON OPEN RANGE

Today’s episode of Open Range with Gary Emineth featured veteran and conservative leader Alex Balazs. Balazs officially announced he will seek the GOP endorsement at the 2026 Republican State Convention in Minot for North Dakota’s U.S. Congressional seat currently held by Julie Fedorchak. Balazs earned the Republican endorsement in 2024, but said the state party leadership chose not to support him during that election cycle.
Balazs shared his priorities if elected to Congress, stressing that he wants to defend America’s constitutional freedoms, strengthen liberty, and restore conservative values in Washington. He explained how his background as a federal employee, veteran, and global defender of American interests has prepared him to serve North Dakotans with integrity and courage.
Balazs said he returned to his family farm near Cando because he values rural life, hard work, and community. He emphasized that his campaign will be built on face-to-face conversations with voters rather than flashy television ads. Balazs believes the best way to earn trust is by listening directly to the people and fighting for their interests in Congress.
