Mossad Knew - 241 Dead - 1983 Beirut Bombing

In regards to the special relationship between the U.S. and Israel, the best argument for it, from a Zionist perspective, is that the U.S. gains amazing intelligence sharing in the Middle East. The story of the Mossad knowing about the 1983 Beirut bombing which killed 241 American servicemen and not sharing that intelligence completely defeats the only good argument for the U.S. gaining anything from that special relationship.
