Democrat Rep. Cuellar Claims Biden’s DOJ Tried to SET HIM UP in Bribery Sting

In an interview on Fox News, he alleged that the department attempted to entrap him through a constructed bribery scenario. According to his account, federal officials created a fictitious company, opened a bank account, withdrew money, and attempted to route that money through individuals who approached his Washington staff.

Cuellar says his staff refused, returned the funds, and informed investigators that no improper conduct occurred. He further stated that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Houston declined to participate because prosecutors there determined the case was not supported by evidence, leaving the operation entirely in the hands of DOJ officials in Washington.
