Rivers, who turned 44 today, hasn’t played since directing the Colts to an 11-5 record and wild-card playoff berth in 2020, the last of his 17 seasons. Indy is searching for an assist as the result of Daniel Jones suffering a season-ending torn Achilles and rookie backup Riley Leonard sustaining an injury to his right knee in Sunday’s 36-19 loss at Jacksonville.
