This is one of my favorite MercyMe songs. We’ve all been through the grief of losing a loved one. I was 27 when my dad passed in 1991. And five years ago, this coming July, I lost my best friend in a horrific motorcycle accident. We can be certain that we will once again be reunited with all of those important people who went to be with our Lord before us. But this song also hits home for me because I missed going home, to family, for Thanksgiving. Ditto for Christmas. I will be having serious neck surgery on December 22 - and home is seven hours away.

Enjoy yesterday afternoon's ride on the Beautiful Adams Loop. It was a ride through clouds and some blue skies. It’s kind of like my mood lately. It doesn’t know what it wants to do. But, hey! The music was really awesome.
