My Lawn Is Immaculate

A visceral *SCREAM* of defiance against thoughtless and unempathetic advice, whether it comes from a human, “Every word you bleat out of your smug fucking mouth is just poison or sabotage.”, or from an AI, “Clank/Squawk/Clank/Squawk/Clank/Squawk”, trained on gobs of vapid hominid bullshit. The title itself is a play on the common internet bromide, “You need to touch grass.”, retorting, “You said to touch grass/So I did/Yeah, I did it and the fertilizer made me sick.” The ending, “My lawn is immaculate/My lawn is in asterisks”, makes it ambiguous as to whether or not the protagonist is fine given that their “lawn” is fictional, but the final line, “I’m keeping the sicko brother/You only licensed the fancy” is an aggressive defense of their boundaries and a denial of root access to their mind.
